New Journal, New Adventures – With Geraldine

 

New journal! New adventures!New goals! Because I’m doing a challenge this month to seek new adventures and try new things, I thought this months box would create the perfect page to document that! And in perfect synchronicity, I am starting a new journal. Tempted by Lisa’s beautiful journals, I went for the Simple Stories ones! 

 
Using the bold geometric paper as a background, I stuck down one of the small journal papers. For the header I fussy cut July from the month to view paper, and stuck it down onto some of the tissue paper which comes as packaging.
 
I think the felt paperclip looks really cute!!!
 
 
I then added a photo I took the other week of my daughter at a new country park in our area. Next I embellished the page using the ephemera and stickers.
 
When I saw the charm I was so excited! I knew it would go so well with my new travelers notebook!!
Together with the new cover I made using the map papers, I now feel I have the full theme of travel and adventure going on and it totally inspires me to achieve my goal this summer!
