Love Happy Days – with Chloe

Hello everyone!

It’s Chloé here, back on the blog with some creative journal pages. I am sorry if you find these repetitive, but they’re definitely where I feel most comfortable in terms of my creativity! I have two pages to share today, made with Lisa’s beautiful October kit, Once Upon a Time. I wanted to share these together, as I followed a similar formula for both of them, but they look very different! I wanted to show how you can use a similar style, and the same kit, and yet still end up with varied projects.

This layout is quite a sentimental one. I was very poorly at the beginning of the year, and spent several months housebound. I used the pastel, light elements of this month’s kit to celebrate the coming of spring, and getting out to live my life again! The photos are from different days and different achievements, so with no concrete theme I just used the photos to inspire my colour choices. I pulled the title die cut, washi, Heidi Swapp Colourshine and puffy stickers from my stash, but everything else is from the Once Upon a Time kit. I love how fresh and clean the page ended up!

As you can see, this next page is very similar in design. I covered the right-hand side in a full piece of patterned paper from the kit, and created little embellishment clusters around each photo. However, with this layout I focused very much on the bright colours of the kit, rather than the pastels. I complimented these colours with a few bits of washi from my stash, and I’m happy with how this journaling-heavy page turned out!
I hope you’ve enjoyed another peek at my creative journal this month!
