Ephemera and scraps:

I had a lot of ephemera/junk to include with this one, as well as leftover scraps from the kit. I thought it would be a good page to share with you to show you how easy it is to include scraps and junk onto your pages.

I used up all my leftover stickers to decorate and frame my photos perfectly. You might also notice that I used the free download from Patreon this month to add a little something different.

All about the pockets

Above I created a tuck spot for a journaling card with photos on, and paperclipped to the back of it was our race predictions and betting slip. I like to get one to add into my journal! I also used up the rest of the strips from one of the papers from the kit These are so handy to layer onto the page and make a layout of photos flow together.

Here is the card I added into the pocket:

On one side I had a set of 4 photos we took that I liked the look of as a ‘photobooth’ style card. I used the kite doodle from the Patreon download and some twine to create a textured kite on the page, as well as the red bow which tied in nicely with the red from the packaging of the necklace. Then on the back I documented the gift I was given that morning! I also cut up the gift bag to use on the page, as well as the red rattan ribbon from the handles which made a cute tab pull.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my page and how I put it together, and that it gave you some ideas on how to use ephemera, junk, and texture to your pages if you like that sort of thing! I LOVE texture and like adding different materials to my pages, even if its a bit of twine or ribbon, but I love being able to add junk from gifts, receipts or tags from things I buy etc.

Let me know what you’re documenting or creating at the moment!
