Hello all!

I absolutely loved the colours of this month’s kit, and knew exactly what I wanted to document with it. We recently went on a Caribbean cruise and absolutely loved it. Of course, I am now journaling the photos and ephemera we collected, and knew I had to document our day in St Lucia using this kit, as the colours are an exact match for some photos we took in the port that morning.

This spread is full of fun, layers and ephemera. I love it. I started by covering up the book pages with the paper in the kit on the left hand side. I just love that edge! Then I backed my photos on to white paper, and then onto the coloured blue card. Next I cut up the washi style papers and the creative postcard to add more layers. The blue sticky notes were great to add behind the photos for contrast. I also decided to tear up the notelet from the box and use it as a title.  I then went through my stash and found a few more blue and yellow stickers to decorate and add layers.

Another tip I have for you is just because something is supposed to be a sheet of stickers, doesn’t mean they have to be used individually! I cut the blue dot sticker sheet in half and used it as another layer behind my photos. Something a little bit more unique and it adds more dimension to the page.

I loved the cloud paperclip, and to tie it in to the blue and yellow theme, I added some of the yellow netted fabric to stick out of the top of my journal.
