Selfies – with Guest Designer Julie

Hi Lollipop friends, Julie back with you today guest designing with the gorgeous Love Yourself kit.

I just love all the bright vibrant colours & fun icons in this kit.

Don’t you just love a selfie? I know I do & frequently take them with friends & then they’re perfect to add to my layouts.

I first brayered on some acrylic paint, in the centre of some white cardstock, to add a colourful base.

.

.

I then cut apart the paper with all the word strips on, distressed the edges & sewed them onto my page in a haphazard fashion.

.

.

I pricked some holes, at the top of my page, & threaded the sequins on to create a star/sunburst effect.

.

.

I backed both my photos with paper from the orange spotted paper bag & added over the paper strips. I then went to town adding all the lovely embellishments, stickers, word strips & fussy cut elements.
