Hello Lollipop Friends!
I’m on here today showing you what I have created using this month’s Marrakesh kit here.
.
Looking through the kit, I knew immediately what I was going to create. I decided I was going to
make a suitcase. How could I not?
.
I used yellow cardstock paper as my base as I thought it would work perfectly with all the bright
colours within the kit. Then I matted the suitcase using the pattern papers and of course I added
gold stitching.
To decorate, I decided to make two clusters. One in the top left corner and one in the bottom right.
Everything I used is from the kit apart from the rosette.

When you open the suitcase, it has two flaps. I decided to decorate those, but you could add an
extra pocket using the treat bags or put a photograph there. I used the doily as my background piece
and made a little cluster on top. I love that in the kit we have a patterned paper that has different
pattern strips. I love turning them into paper ruffles and to use them for layering.
.

.
Here is the second flap I decorated. I kept the same concept as the first flap but this time I added the
left-over piece of lace trim, which I used most of it on my front cover. Again, you could use this space
for extra storage or even to add journaling.
.

.
The suitcase has five pockets which I matted with the pattern papers. I made this to send some
embellishments and little goodies for happy mail. But you could also use the suitcase as a journal
and store your photos inside. It’s very versatile.

Lovely project!
