Hi Sarah here today with a page in my anytime travellers notebook. I use this TN for random pics and moments not tied to an event so I don’t have to worry about date orders. They’re just moments that make me smile.

I had the One Fine Day kit on my desk and a picture of my boys in the lid of the sandpit like a boat and the idea sprung from there. I first created the teacup to fit the boys fussy cut image. I used an older lollipop paper that matched perfectly and added some shading to help it blend with the photo and add a little dimension.

Next I wanted to create a stormy sea so I cut out wave shapes from the scripts paper and some gelliprinted papers and added them alternating down the page. There was also an older paper in a misty grey which was so perfect for the sky and the layers really popped on top of it.

I knew I wanted to fussy cut the beautiful journal card leaves and use the words for my title. I framed my “real life” pictures with the fussy cut leaves and added papers from the kit in layers behind.

For my journalling I added a small flip up piece of paper tucked behind my photo layers inside a little bag to carry on the tea theme. I added some cute stickers to decorate and attached the bag to a tag.

As always I added some splashes of paint this time in black to finish the page along with some more stickers and a tiny canvas flag.
