First I printed a large number 7 and cut it out. I cut the inner section out aswell because I had planned to back it with the papers from the kit. I ended up using the gorgeous paper with all the lovely strips.

I matted it onto a textured silver card for a something a little extra. I matted my photos onto the same card.

I created the background using some Distress paint and Dina Wakley paint. Using an old gift card I simply swiped the paint from side to side. Easy peasy, anyone can do it, I promise!

I die cut a birthday sentiment and used some die cuts for extra embellishing.

I also cut apart a card and used the lines for my journaling.

I honestly fell in love with creating 12×12 layouts again!
