Hello everyone!

Anyone else absolutely LOVE June’s kit? I am a sucker for anything with a nostalgic vibe! The colours and all the little details make me super happy!

I decided to document some lovely flowers Jack bought me when I passed all of my practical exams. Those of you who don’t know, I am currently undergoing a really stressful course with work at the moment, and I am currently 14 weeks in to the 16 week course. The end is in sight and the light is at the end of the tunnel. I have really neglected my journaling as all of my time and effort has gone into passing all of my exams and assessments. Coming home after passing my last practical assessment to these wonderful flowers was such a pickmeup. I am very conscious of the fact I haven’t been myself over the last few months due to the stress of this course, but as I said, the end is in sight.

I loved dissecting the strip paper to create little decorations to layer my page.

I created a photo strip and layered some papers behind it first.

We love layers and textures!

The envelope is where I kept the note Jack wrote with the flowers, along with my journaling. I love how it turned out. I saw Lisa do something similar with the envelope and paperclip, it just adds a little extra something to the page!

The alphabet stickers included in the kit were the perfect addition to the bottom as a title, I am always conscious of trying to create different style pages – having the title somewhere different elevates the page and keeps you interested!
