Hiya , how are you all doing ? Did you all have a lovely Christmas with your family and friends?
Christmas week has flown by and I feel I have not captured all of the moments!
I am trying a new journal page layout today and I want to put the snippets of my Christmas week.
I am going to use the November kit Festive Fancies for my journal layout.
Starting the page
The kit had a weekly page that I think would be good to use to document all the snippets of your week.
I have glued this in the middle of my page.
To avoid bulk in the middle , I have cut the paper into two and glued them on to the page as if they are one page again.
PS . apologies of the paracetamol on the side.

Next , I have printed off all the photographs that I have taken during the Christmas week.
As usual , I. have used my Canon Selphy printer for this .
Before , I glue everything down , I have arranged the photographs around my page until I am happy with the arrangement.
I then used the wash tape that was included in the kit and stuck them on the sides of the photographs as if they are holding the photos in place.
Oh by the way , I have also glued a bit of wrapping paper strips to both sides of the page as my page to add colour. This is what I have used to wrap my presents this year.

Decorating the page
It’s now time to decorate my page!
I realised that I didn’t have red alphabet stickers.
The good things is that the kit came with a sheet of white alphabet stickers.
I have used a red post paint pen to colour the letters I needed.

I am so glad that Lisa has included white alphabet stickers in this kit , as I can simply change the colour by using a paint pen if I need to.
To decorate the page, I have used the various ephemera pieces that was included in the kit.
I have also used the mini sticker sheet that was on a happy mail that we ordered for Poppy.

The journaling part
I journaled on the days of the weekly sheet indicating what has happened on that day.
There was so much memories in one page !
It was lovely to just think about the lovely things that has happened that week and remind myself what an amazing week I had.
The week has truly flown by , but at least I have this age to remember it by.

Have you tried this type of journaling ? How did you find it ?
Well , this is it for now…
Wishing you all a lovely week and a Happy New year ! May 2026 bring you more blessings and memories.
Lots of crafty hugs, Sheryll
