“Together”

Hello Lollipop friends,

I was so excited to use the new “Best Friends” kit – it is absolutely stunning! I love all the little bits and pieces.

I decided to document a fun little memory of when I did bedtime with my mini bestie. This tiny girlie is my best friends daughter but she’s literally the mini version of her, therefor she’s my mini bestie 🙂

I knew I wanted to use the little heart stencil in my background so that was what I did first. I laid down a wash of watercolour…actually it was Distress Ink…then used the same ink with the stencil and blended the bottom parts out a little, letting it run down the page.

I then chose a few pieces from the strips paper and placed them on the right hand side of my photo. I embellished using the cute bow stickers and the gorgeous arrow paper clip. Added a few word stamps and I was happy. It’s a simple, yet effective layout and I actually love how the background turned out!
