I’m so happy to be back with you all, things have been pretty busy for me with a new job and family unwell – I kinda lost my mojo – does that ever happen to you guys?  I spent some time this weekend playing with the gorgeous winter kits from Lollipop Box Club and its starting to come back…… I really hope that you like what I have to show you today!

I made this layout using the December Lollipop Box kit and the one-off Christmas kit.  The supplies that I have used come from both.   I started the layout the way that I always do – I used my beloved distress ink refills to create all the splatters and then stencilled stars on the background. Whilst this was drying – I cut my papers into 2×2 inch squares and roughed up all the edges.  I also drew messy lines around the edges of each of the squares in black and gold ink.

I am really enjoying looking at grid layouts on Pinterest at the minute, so decided to arrange the squares in a 4×4 layout.  I backed one square from each line with red tissue paper from the kits.  I love this about the kits that Lisa makes, you really can use every bit of them!

I fussy cut the Christmas tree from one of the cards that Lisa paints – the original artwork really is my favourite thing about the kits…

I then used the stickers and the awesome ‘memories’ embellishment from Bramble Fox to create my title.

Finally, I decorated each of the squares with stickers and die cuts from the kits – the new circles that we get are so easy to use and make such an impact!

I finished the layout off by sticking down the little gems. They give a lovely sparkle and really finish off the page. I have loved working with these kits! They are so much fun to play with and you really do get so much to use!

Happy New Year

Love,

Carrie xo
