Jackie back again with another layout using the August 2021 – Time to Shine kit here. This kit is so versatile, so I stepped away from the initial idea of the “Time to Shine” theme and designed a travel layout. As the kit is full of products, it was easy to find bits and pieces for my layout.

I love all the patterned papers in the kit, and as usual wanted to use it all, but then end up covering most of it up – which is always the way.
I cut apart one of the scallop papers and added some machine stitching to give some additional texture, down each strip.

In the kit are some lovely embellishments by Sheenanigans, I added the word ‘hello’ to a label so it lifted the word from the background cardstock and also added some 3D foam to help with this.

My photograph is backed using patterned papers, which I left with a bigger border at the bottom to add part of my title. I used the mini alphabets and puffy stickers from my stash for the title.
Using two chevrons which I’d cut out previously, I added to my layout.
