Do you ever feel that sometimes you just need a bit of positive words ?  I do!

There are days that I just need to remind myself how good life is despite the stresses.

I wanted to document this . So that at the end of the year , I have something to remind me of the positive notes I have written.

The mini envelopes

I wanted to make mini envelopes  to keep the little notes.

The mini envelope  from love letters kit was my template to make 12 small envelopes.  I used old dictionary pages to make the envelopes.   You can also use a different paper.

After folding and gluing my envelopes together , I inked the edges with distress ink .  I used vintage photo , but you can use any colour that goes with the colour scheme that you have chosen.

Creating the journal page

Remember that red vintage looking paper from the kit? I  tore it diagonally , and glued them on the top and bottom of the page to look like a border.

I then arranged and glued the mini envelopes on the page.

My journal is almost A4 size ,  so I managed to fit all 12 envelopes in one page.

A bit of recycling …

I found an old stickers that had the months ( January – December) on them . They were the perfect size for my envelopes.

So I’ve cut them out and stuck them on each of the envelope.    They gave a lovely pop of colour to my page.

Finishing touches…

I have cut little note cards from a blank card stock for the mini envelopes .  This is where I will write out positive quotes each month .    The mini envelopes were decorated  with the  fussy cut doodle hearts from from one of the kit papers.  They were glued on either side of the bottom corner of the envelopes.

As for the heading on my page ?  I used the kit logo ( I think that what you call it ) and stuck it on top of the page.

My  page was finished by decorating it with the stickers that was included in the kit.

My goal is that every month , I will write a positive quote.  It would be awesome to be able to read them again at the end of the year to remind me , what I have written to myself.

I love how this page came together and I am looking  forward to writing on the mini notes cards every month.

I would love to know if you document any quote that helps you feel positive in your journal.

Have a lovely week and happy journaling !

Lots of Crafty hugs ,
