I find challenges really inspiring and great to kick start a page.

Julie sent me the details of her scrapbooking page the other day and all I could think about was scrap lifting it.

It just gave me such an urge to create.

.

So I figured, if I felt like that, then others will do too.

If you fancy joining me, here’s Julie’s page for you to scraplift too.

You can see Julie’s blog post here.

What I love about a scraplift is how you can take anything as inspiration.

The colours, the design, the subject/theme, how the embellishments are used, the title…

For me it was the design down the centre.

I did start thinking ‘drinks’ and that sent me down a rabbit hole.

I started thinking about a page with a dole whip in Disney and remembered these cute Orange Bird photos from the Dole Whip stand.

This is the page I ended up with.

.

Now it may not look like Julie’s but that’s the beauty of a scraplift.

It’s your kick start. Your inspiration. That’s exactly what Julie did for me.

.

You can see the detail in the centre which is what first caught my eye.

The circles are replaced by my lemons and my title has also been boxed.

Here is the page opposite.
