I also bought 2 large wooden letters online. The first initial from both my husband and I. I printed off maps from our favourite destination and glued them with pva glue to the letters. Once they were dry, I trimmed off any excess paper and sanded down along the edges for a smooth finish. Then I painted white around the outside of each letter.
