I am so sorry – it has been a little while. Life has been…well, life. It was a long winter! But I am back with a brand new layout that was heavily inspired by Coldplay’s “Yellow”. So much so the title of this layout ended up being lyrics from the song.
However they were fitting…although I haven’t documented stars, but the sun. The sunrise to be exact. Does anyone else love those spring sunrises?

I completely went to town with Dina Wakley’s gloss spray – on the back ground, the grit paper and the book page. It all came together.
I layered those papers as a background for my photo and the cute image from the zine that came in the “Sunny days are coming” kit.

I embellished my layout with a few circle stickers and die cuts. And finally I used my alphabet stamps to create my title and date.

This layout was so hard to photograph. Why is it that cameras struggle so much picking up the true tones of yellow?!
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this layout and you’re also enjoying the sunshine and longer days.

Until next time…
Nadine xx
