How cute is this month’s kit?!

I LOVE the Alice theme for May’s kit, its soooo cute. I couldn’t wait to get stuck in to play with it as it’s been a long time coming. I have had such a busy few weeks with work, being 2/3rds the way through my current training course, I’ve had exams and assessments coming out of my ears. I was also struck down with a chest infection last week too and had a big family wedding this weekend. Phew, what a whirlwind of a month its been! I’ve finally got a spare hour to sit down and create with the May’s kit.

I wanted to make something quick and easy that I could use in my journal later on this month when my photos arrive, as I had waited until the wedding weekend to send off my Free Prints (gentle reminder to send yours off too before the 31st!). I love how these tags turned out. I used the tags that came in the binder clip in the kit, tore up some paper (and leftover manuscript from last month too) to make some layers. Stickers & the strip paper added that extra layer and level of detail.

I also had some Alice themed stickers left over from a previous kit (may be a few years old now!) because I’m something of  a sticker hoarder. I’m trying not to be but I guess for these tags it was worth the hoard!

I then took a fineliner pen and doodled some borders around the edges to break up  the white background, whilst still leaving some blank space to either journal or add a photo on the back when I come to use them on my pages.

I decorated them front and back because I got carried away with layering. I’m really pleased with the result! Let me know what you think.
