Creative block? Uninspired? You are not alone…

Hello Lollipop friends,

Let’s talk about something I am sure we have all experienced before – creative blocks and feeling uninspired. It’s frustrating, right?
You’re in the mood to create, you might even have a rough idea in your head…but nothing comes out the way you imagined or had hoped for.
That’s exactly what’s happened to me this month.
Illnesses and a stressful every day life seem to have stripped me of all creativeness.

To say this layout isn’t my best work would be an understatement! I wanted to create a colourful and fun layout to document a super fun birthday party my daughter attended in September. But the end result has left me more than frustrated. However I still like the idea and I can see elements that may inspire other ideas. And that’s why I decided to still create this blog post using the layout as an example that not every project is always gonna be perfect or how we imagined it. I am certain I will revisit the idea some day and make it, well, better!

I love the idea of using Polaroid frames in different sizes and shapes and colours/patterns.
I think a colourful background would have maybe saved the layout but I will try that next time.
