Hello everyone!

It’s time for one of my favourite times of the year: Spring. It may or may not have something to do with the fact we have an excuse to eat chocolate, or that the days are getting brighter and it’s not pitch black dark when I leave for work in the morning. I love spring, I love driving to work or walking by the fields and spotting the fresh new lambs outside. It just brings me a little bit of joy and something to smile about.

I decided to use the March kit to celebrate spring and Easter by making an Easter card. I don’t ‘celebrate’ Easter in that respect, but I do enjoy the décor in the shops and the pastel colours which this kit emphasises.

I made an Easter card using the papers, die cuts and stickers, as well as using up some alphabet stickers from my own stash.

I used the A5 papers for the base, tore up another piece to create texture and layers, and the ‘washi; strip paper for some definition. I love creating clusters of die-cuts and stickers, I wanted to break up the colours of the easter eggs against the pink background so I used the thin washi included in the kit to add more texture. I later added the small label tag with a paperclip for a little added extra. I am going to write a little message on this piece.

Give it a go – make your family member a card, or frame it and put it on show where you do your crafting. I love having a homemade seasonal print in my craft room too!

Items used on this project are all included with the March kit, with the exception of the alphabet stickers which are from my own stash.
