One of my favourite things about the Lollipop Box Kits is just how versatile they are and how much freedom we have as a team to create any project we are inspired to. I am predominantly a scrapbooker and dabble in some art journaling, but sometimes I am inspired to make an off the page project, mini book or card.

I used the Hello Gorgeous kit to create this art journal page, just adding paint and a heart stencil from my stash. I added pastel pink acrylic paint to the page before sponging the same colour through a heart stencil to create the background.

I cut out the heart quote from the subscribers postcard to use as the main focal aspect of the page. I then used this as a template to cut out two further hearts from patterned paper. I added doodled borders to both hearts using black pen.

Using the Peartree Cutfiles Heart Arrow stencil from the kit I added detail with red paint then layered the hearts on top. I added splatters of Dylusions Shimmer Ink in red and white paint.

I finished the page with a few die cut hearts from the kit and some of the beautiful sequins. I love the die cuts from the kit, they are perfect for adding detail to pages. Sequins are also my ideal embellishment for finishing off my pages.
