Hello Sarah here with my first project using the My Small World kit.

The first thing I wanted to use was the stencil. It’s so adorable and was the perfect size for my Travellers Notebook.
I added some gesso to my pages then blended Oxide inks through the stencil. On the opposite page I added some more oxides in a contrasting colour through a honey comb stencil.

I use my Travellers notebook journal to document random days not in order, I like choosing any picture from anytime and not worrying about it being chronologically correct. I used my favourite technique of fussy cutting out the background of my pictures. Our living room was very dark, dreary and undecorated at this time ( still not finished haha) so instead we have the sweet whimsical paper in the background.

I used the washi strip style paper in my favourite way too by framing my page. And added cute stickers over the top in the corners.

For my journalling and to add an extra picture for extra cuteness I made a pocket at the bottom of the page to hold two journal cards. I used the cards from the kit and some coordinating gelliprinted paper from my stash. I also used a cute house stamped image on top of the print in contrasting colours.

Finally I added my journaling to the reverse of the card and some splashes of watercolour to the page.
