One of Lollipop box club ( Romy) has recently organised a crafty meet up.

The plan is to craft , chat and check out the local charity shops for some good bargains.

We had lovely cakes and treats too that we have shared and had with a lovely cup of tea,

There was this amazing place that we went to  called Alladin’s Cave .

The place was filled with lots of vintage treasures !

We found ourselves some brain books that we can turn into amazing journals , as well as vintage linens.

We also went to a few charity shops and we all had some great purchases.

I bought a few books  and 2 table linens that are just absolutely beautiful !

I truly had a good day and wanted to document the day.

The Rebel Crafter kit was perfect for this layout.

I also dug out a couple of craft related stamps in my stash to make some decorative stickers .

Making sticker embellishments

First , I painted a plain sticker sheet with neon coloured paints.  I just love the cheerful vibes it gives.

I stamped  craft related images such as Washi tape , pens , ink bottles , buttons  and scissors.  They would be lovely to fussy cut and include in my layout .

Creating the page

We were given a map of Malvern and I thought that they would be a good addition to my page.

I glued one of the maps  on the opposite page and created a to top tuck spot.

As for the main page , I used the cut apart washi strip  paper and other washi tapes  to create the border .

I just love the care bear washi  tape in the border.  This  fits in with the fact that we found a care bear crochet pattern in the charity shops.

Completing the layout

We had so much fun that day , that we have forgotten to take photos.

Thank goodness Lisa and Romy  took a few that she shared with us.

I arranged the photos as I would like them to be placed on the page.

The page was embellished with  some of the stickers  and cut apart embellishment from the kit.

I did my journaling in the spaces between the photographs.

I just love how this page turned out !

The page is  so colourful which is reflective of what day we had.

It is just a lovely way to spend time with friends.

There is another day arranged for another meet up in Autumn,  yay!

Will you be there ?

Sending you all lots of crafty hugs and love.

Love

Sheryll
