Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the Spring sunshine!

I have been documenting our recent cruise holiday and saw the colours of the May kit went perfectly well with these photos of one of our evenings on the ship.

I love using the strips of patterns from the ‘washi style’ papers – it creates texture as well as layering in a quick and easy way.

I then tore up the to-do list to create my focussed background. Then, the journal card in the zine, followed by some more paper layers. The mix of pastel colours with the metallic gold accents is perfect here!

I love the frame cardstock; I cut this up and used it again for layering and to frame the map of our 2nd week itinerary on our holiday. The vellum envelope was a perfect pocket, covered half-way with a photo.

The feathers were a bit of a mine-field, though, I didn’t know how to use them, so I decided to staple them to a paperclip onto the page to add more interest. We LOVE layers and we LOVE layers and textures that poke out of the tops of our journals, don’t we?!

I embellished the page with several stickers from the kit, as well as phrase stickers from my stash. Sometimes I love to leave the stickers on their paper again for texture and layering.

Let me know what you think! What is your favourite thing from this months kit and what do you plan to use it for?
