I decided to document the spring half term as we had a few really fun days.

I started of by creating my covers. I used a paper from my stash as I needed a bigger sheet to cover the grey board.

I knew I wanted to create a sliding waterfall element on each side of my album. I used the papers from the kit to cut my matting layers.

This technique didn’t allow for a lot of embellishing but I was ok with that, this technique is fun and makes the album unique.

I did use a few little heart stickers on the inside spine though.

I loved the postcard in the kit and decided to cut out the beautiful leaves for my cover. A couple of word elements and enamel dots finished it off nicely.

I love this album and how simple it is. The papers make it so fun!

I will add some journaling on the back of each photo too.

I hope this inspired you and you will give the sliding waterfall technique a try. It would be beautiful in a journal too.

It looks complicated but is actually easy to do. There is plenty of YouTube videos explaining how to put it together.

Until next time…

Nadine xx
