I have been thinking of ways of using up my Lollipopbox club stash.

Over the years I have accumulated lots of ephemera , papers, tags and little note papers.

Not to mention the different cut apart cards that always come with the kits.

I was recently inspired by a video on YouTube – making little journals from bits and bobs of paper and ephemera from your stash.

You can use the journals either as a normal journal, art journal or a glue book.

So , off I went and gathered all the things I want to include in the journals.

I was surprised that I managed to gather a lot!!!

Things that I have forgotten that I had.

I am not cutting , or preparing and covers for this.  I decided to use the brown coin envelopes that I seem to have collected from the kits.

The brown envelopes were a good size and a good neutral blank canvas for when I decorate my covers.

They will also be good as storage for any memorabilia – tickets , receipts , etc.

I gathered as much paper and bits that I can to ensure that I will have enough pages for both of my journals.

During my gather,  have found die cut words “Home ” and “Adventure”, so I decided that this will be the theme for my journals.

I arranged the papers as to how I would like them on the journal.

Yes, the pages are not all the same , but that’s the beauty of these journals.

I think the higgledy piggledy – ness to it adds that unique character to them.

Once I have arranged the pages, it  felt that it needed some more pages.

So, off I went and chose additional papers from my stash to add to the journal.

I used a border punch to add some decoration to the edges of the papers.

Af6er another paper arranging, it is time to bind.

I am using my cinch to bind my journals, and I am using left over coils from previous projects.

You can also use book rings to bind the journals.

To decorate the covers, I used a doily , a frame, a leaf die cut and the words “Home” and “Adventure”

I choose a cut apart card that suits the theme and cut the elements and kept them in one of the mini envelopes within the journal.

I just love how this 2 journals have turned out.

Perhaps I can create more with different themes such as”Happy Mail” , “Cozy” ,  “Christmas ” , etc.

Would like to see what else I can create ?

I think these would be lovely gifts for friends or just simply as a collection.

Let me know how you use your Lollipopboxclub kit stash , I would love to hear your ideas.

Well this is it for me again my lovely friends, till my next blog.

Lots of crafty hugs ,

Sheryll
