New Year’s Goals

Hello Lollipop friends,

It has been a minute and I need to apologise!
The end of 2025 and beginning of 2026 have been extremely hectic in more ways than I’d like to remind myself of! But…I’m back!
Even if it feels like ages ago already…Happy New Year!

I was super excited to use the “Beautiful Beginnings” kit for this layout.
I wanted to document this image I found on Instagram that spoke to me as soon as I saw it.
“Be calm. Just let things be.” is going to be my motto of the year. I really need to learn to bring calmness back into my life…can anyone relate?

I started off with my background. I used three different watercolours and blended them together to match the image.

I used one of the lovely large tags for my journaling and cut out an element from the monthly download. I almost always print it larger than postcard size and cut out what I feel like using.

I cut a few butterflies from the super pretty pearly paper and used those to embellish my page – they have got to be the prettiest things ever!

To finish it off I chose a couple of phrase stickers.
