Picnic Basket Gift Box with Beccy

Hello Lollipop Friends!
I hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the summer. Today I’m on the blog to show you what I
created using the ‘Treehouse adventures’ Kit.

.

I’m a primary school teacher and as it was reaching
the end of the school year, I wanted to make a gift for my work colleague.
This kit inspired me to make a little picnic basket. I thought it would be perfect to add little gifts or
use to store your memory keeping, photos.

.

For the base of my picnic basket, I used plain pink cardstock and matted it with the lemon patterned
paper. I of course added some stitching, as I love the detail it adds (of course you don’t have to do
that). To decorate I mainly used the die cuts, the cut apart postcard and Mrs Brimbles stickers. For
the leaf’s I fussy cut the beautiful handmade postcard Lisa created. Using the patterned paper with
all the beautiful strips I fussy cut out the ladybug and layered him up with foam tape for extra
dimension.

The picnic basket is made from two small boxes that I glued together then covered the join with the
strap. For the sides I added a little enamel brad that I created using colours that match the kit, then I
added some of the Mrs Brimbles phrase stickers. You can never have enough phrase stickers in my
opinion.

I used the green ribbon from the kit to make a cute little bow to add onto the top of the strap. For
the back side of the picnic basket, I used the tickets and again the beautiful leaf’s that Lisa created
and layered everything up with all the embellishments from the kit. The little grasshopper is from
the pattern paper with all the strips.
To finish it off, I added some bling stickers from my stash and added some pink crinkle paper inside
the boxes. If your curious as what I gifted my work colleague, I gifted her some hand soap, a bath
bomb, a bath and body work hand sanitizer and a dangle charm that I made into a keyring. And yes,
all of that fitted nicely into my picnic basket.

I really hope you like what I created with the ‘Treehouse Adventures’ kit. I hope it has inspired you
with ideas on how to use this month’s kit.
Until next time,
Beccy x
