Project Life with Chloé

.

Hello everyone, happy October!

For those who haven’t seen my posts before, I’m Chloé, and I love to use Lisa’s beautiful Lollipop kits in my creative journals and pocket-page scrapbooks. I shared a spread of our minimoon that I created with the August kit, and I’m back today with another project life page; this time, it’s using September’s Stay Cozy kit to document the second half of March. I was recovering from a hospital stay at this time, and the UK had just gone into lockdown, so the homey feel of September’s kit was just perfect.

I just wanted to quickly apologise for the photo quality this month… these dark mornings and evenings aren’t conducive to successful photography! If you’d like to see the pages close up/in HD quality, I did actually upload a process video to my YouTube channel, which you can find HERE. I upload at least one crafty video a week at the moment, so please do consider subscribing!

I absolutely love mixing Lisa’s kits in with my stash to create projects. All of the ‘cozy’ themed embellishments worked beautifully for these pages, in conjunction with a few of my own enamel dots and letter stickers. The cards I’ve photographed above are some of my favourites from the spread, and both used the gorgeous multi-coloured chevron paper that Lisa included in September’s box. It added the perfect splash of colour on the 4×6 card, which was originally a plain white grid. How perfect was the tea/coffee sticker for that card, too?! Again, it was just the right amount of embellishment. The tiny phrases were also from the kit; the top one is one of the Mrs Brimbles stickers, and the bottom was a separate phrase strip.

The 3×4 card that I’ve photographed also utilised the tag, twine and beautiful rose gold staples that came in the September box, along with that STUNNING book/tea sticker from Mrs Brimbles. I think I actually squealed when I saw that sticker on the sheet! As I spent most of spring reading/drinking copious cups of tea, it couldn’t have been more apt.

I hope you enjoyed having another look at my 2020 scrapbook album! Don’t forget to watch the process video for this spread, if you’d like a closer look/a peek into my thought process when creating.
