For my first page, I used the red striped paper as a base – it matched the colour of this photobooth picture so well! I also took the sketch from the kit zine and altered it slightly. The doily is also included in the kit, as is the little bow and ephemera to decorate this simple but effective first page!

Next, I used a piece of manuscript paper as a base, which was already included in my journal and folded the excess to make a pocket. I am all about giving myself extra tuck spots for more journalling if required!

In the tuck spot I used the score card from our game of mini golf to house one of my favourite photos and then on the back is a space for journalling! Whilst doing this, using the washi strip paper of course, I used up old bits and bobs from my stash that matched the themed page.

I absolutely adore this kit and couldn’t wait for it to arrive to start to play with it!
