“Snuggles by Emma Kate”

Hey Lollipop friends, I would like to share this 12×12 pennant layout with you today using the autumnal “Snuggle Season” kit. The pennant cut from the cloud patterned paper is where my page began & from there I built up lots of layers using the other patterned paper from the kit.

At the top of my pennant I used a paper straw covered in washi tape then threaded through orange bakers twine & used the arrow flair from Dotty About Fair to hang it from. Next, I fussy cut the leaf patterned paper, added little bits of the gold leaf & placed them in 3 places around my layout to create a visual triangle.

Along various edges of my page I machine stitched in black thread to balance the black lines of the leaves & to pop against the bright colours of patterned paper. I also stitched a small rectangle on white cardstock so I would have a place to write my journalling.

To finish I added my title, splatters of gold ink & a sprinkling of sequins. A pennant is a great way to start a layout, its one of those go to formats that you can use time & time again, why not give it a try yourself!
