Sunshine Layered Tags
Hey everyone! Today I wanted to share a quick 10-minute project I pulled together with scraps of the kit leftover from my previous layout. I wanted to create something I could clip or flip into my journal, so I took the last sheet of white card, sliced it in half with my guillotine, rounded the edges and gave myself a blank canvas to start layering on!
After I had my two bases, I took one half of the card, layered a piece of the note paper with a scrap of the music paper (manuscript) I also rubbed the edges of the music paper with copper coloured ink to make the edge stand out against the bright white card. Then I took some torn bits of the strip paper, the stickers and cloud diecuts to layer a sort of title on the top. The frame I found in my scrap basket and thought it added a little bit of interest.
I did similar with the second one, using more strips of torn paper, stickers and die cuts to create layers.
I finished them off with the leftover cloud ribbon (which I LOVE and need more of!) stapled on to the card with the blue staples from the kit.
I love how quick and easy these were to make and they look great. I can’t wait to use them in my junk journal, and I have the perfect day in mind to use them for too!
I hope everyone is doing well! Let me know what you’re up to in the comments.
