Textured wooden layered embellishments

I am here today to share with you a quick 5-minute crafty make using the August Kit!

This kit is perfect for road trips and holidays – so much so that I wanted to make things I can hoard away until I document our big cruise next year!

I saw the wooden frames and wanted to make some embellishments that I could add to a page.

I have started collecting pieces for our cruise next year, and this kit is absolutely perfect for it. The map pages, the papers – UGH i love it!

I used thin double sided tape to stick the map to the backs of the frames – I wanted to showcase both sides of the frame design so did one with the pattern facing up and one with the wood brown facing up.

Then, I used a torn piece of washi and the cut apart postcard to add some layers. I didn’t want to add too much as to cover the map page. I then finished it off with adding the twine. Again adding some difference – one I punched a hole through and tied, the other I used my glue gun to secure it in a bow.
