If you are in the Lollipop community group on Facebook, you might have seen my 2024 weekly journal that I made entirely from packaging.

I wanted to use the “Yay” kit to create my first entry. The colours of the kit are my absolute favourite and perfect for documenting the first week of the new year.

I started off with the pink paper bag and decided to turn it into a pocket.

I used some print outs from older kits as layering pieces and also for some journaling.

I cut apart the lovely postcard from the kit as it was the perfect title for my page.

I arranged my little photos around all those pieces.

If you’re anything like me you have a few pocket life cards laying around. One of those was perfect for my pocket. I used the back and front to write down my stories and thoughts.

And lastly I used stickers and die cuts to embellish my page.

I hope you all had a good start to the year.

Until next time…

Nadine xx
