City Time – Scrapbooking with Guest Designer Jackie

Hi all, Jackie here as September 2023 gust designer, using the gorgeous lollipop box ‘Downtown’.

For this layout I used a photo of my son waiting by a taxi whilst in New York.

I wanted my layout to be nice and bright, like the collection of papers in the September box. Starting by added a stencil sunburst details to my white cardstock background.

I tore one of the spotted paper lengthwise and added it to the centre of my cardstock, adding the camera paper to the right hand side, cutting it in half – so that it stretched behind my layer, and adding a pennant to the lower edge.

Backing my 4×4 photograph with the black arrow patterned paper, and used the 6×4 card to use as the title, which I placed across the centre of my cardstock.

I added some hand written journaling to the small journaling card in the kit, which I tucked under the bottom of the torn paper.

Cutting the ‘washi strip’ paper apart I used several pieces around my page as embellishments. Adding some enamel dots from the stash.

Finishing with some the word stickers and arrow stickers and black ink splatters around the page.
