Bosworth – By Amy
Hello, It’s Amy here sharing a 12×12 scrapbook layout that I created using May’s ‘Picnic In The Park‘ kit.
I started my layout by creating a yellow mixed media background using watercolour inks. I wanted a rough square of the yellow in the centre of my page where I planned to place all my elements on top.

I also trimmed my background white card slightly and matted it onto a red cardstock sheet to create a border. The red matched those in the kit and frames the layout nicely.

After my yellow ink was dry, I found the centre point of my layout and then using a ruler drew lines radiating from this point outwards. I did this in both a yellow pen and a fine black pen. I varied the length of these lines to keep it more random looking.
Next I used black ink to stamp with the chevron stamp from the kit, onto the strawberry patterned paper. I then fussy cut these out. I think the stamp might be my favourite item from this months kit. Its going to super versatile, I just know I will use it over and over again!
I placed my two photos onto my layout, and then added the chevrons. Some point to the left and others to the right, but overall they all point towards the centre line of the page. I created my title in the same way, using outline stamps on the strawberry paper and then fussy cutting the letters out.

Next came my favourite part of decorating the layout with all the pieces from the kit. I fussy cut some of the elements from the cut apart sheet (such as the camera, the grass, the sun and the small hearts). I tried to keep to mainly using the yellow, pink and red elements, with just the occasional pop of green, which matches my photos. I also added some of the stickers.

I added a minimal amount of journalling to my layout on the ‘notes’ die cut. I used the pink letter stickers from a previous Lollipop kit. They are available to purchase as an add on too.

Love this layout and all the bits you’ve used. Nice and bright
