Hello crafters, It’s Amy here sharing another 12×12 scrapbook layout I created using June’s “Lets Escape” kit. This is available to purchase as a one off kit from the Lollipop Box Club website.
I started my layout by creating a mixed media background. I added white gesso to a piece of 12×12 white cardstock. When this was completely dry I added three areas of Distress Oxide. I cut up the film strips from one of the patterned paper and also cut lots of short strips of the other patterned paper too. I layered my photo on top of 3 other patterned papers that are in the kit.
I am documenting a pile of books that I have sat waiting for the summer. I added my journalling by hand to the lower right hand corner.
I used the little arrow stencil to add some black outline arrows on either side of my layout.
I then added lots of die cuts and stickers from the kit onto my layout.
I added a little right on top of the ’empty space’ of my photo and I really love how this looks.
