Today I have this creative page in my travellers notebook to share with you all, here I am documenting my daughters 1st birthday and what could be more perfect than a castle themed page for my little princess.

I started the page by drawing a castle on the two pages, I cut around the edges to give it a sort of ‘pop up’ effect, I then cut pieces from the kit papers and built it up  as well as adding some of the embellishments to create details on the castle.

.

For the background I cut clouds using scrap paper, placed them on the back pages and inked over, then removed the cloud pieces of paper to leave a sky effect. I have put my journaling behind the castle as I wanted it hidden.

I added the photo of my daughter in her birthday outfit and placed it on some of the tissue paper that Lisa wraps the lovely goodies in and added some die cuts and stickers to finish it off.

I had so much fun creating this page.

Thanks for stopping by,

Becky
