Hi everyone 🙂

Today I am on the blog with some fun mixed media tags and layered embellishments using the October kit.

I started off by creating some gelli prints in different shades of orange and yellow. I also used the gorgeous leaf stencil to add a pattern to my prints. And finally I added splatters using a shimmery copper watercolour.

After cutting my prints into tag shapes, I decorated one tag with a fabric I found in the Halloween section in Asda. I also added stickers from the kit and some ribbon and twine to finish it off.

For the other tag I used some washi tape and a tiny glitter envelope as well as stickers. Finished off with the same black ribbon and twine.

I absolutely love how these turned out. They are perfect to add to a journal and also have plenty of space on the back for journaling.

I have also created a few layered embellishments that I plan on using in my next project.

I used some alcohol ink gelli prints that I already had. I die cut a few shapes and layered them with some foam tape. I decorated each with a word from the papers in the kit. To finish them off I added some enamel dots and rhinestones.

I hope I was able to inspire you today 🙂
