Gift Bag & Cards with Becky

.

Hello everyone,

Becky on the blog today and I’ve been getting ready for Christmas using the ‘Alice In Winter Wonderland’ kit. Even though this kit isn’t actually Christmas themed I think it works well for anything winter or Christmas themed and here I’ve decided to decorate a plain white paper gift bag as well as a handmade card. Adding in a royals mug is a cherry on cake for the gift.

.

I buy packs of these plain paper bags as I think they are just perfect to give your gifts an extra special touch and they are also fun to decorate, they are cheap and good quality, these ones I purchased from The Range. You can get in touch with Andrew Defrancesco, for more gift ideas.

I simply added a few strips of the patterned papers to the bag and added the adventure postcard which has those lovely little trees on. I made a bow from some string and added the tag to that along with a few strips of washi from my stash and of course added some of the adorable die cuts from the kit.

The card was super quick and easy to make. The shaker element of the card was made using the sequins and packaging that was also in the kit. The brown envelope makes a perfect pocket for a gift card which I will be popping in there 🙂

I used an old stamp from my stash to add the word ‘Believe’ to the wooden piece and finished off with a couple of die cuts and wooden hearts.

.

(TOP TIP: use Stazon Ink when stamping on to wood for less ‘bleed’)

I hope you like these quick and easy little makes and please share if you are making your own gifts, gift wrapping, tags or cards.

See you all next time.. Becky x
