Handmade Vintage Postcards by Vicki

Hi Guys,

After seeing the collab sheet from Grace this month I was inspired to make some of my own vintage feel postcards.  These were so simple to make and the freeness of it was really nice.  Free to create without much thought!

I used the tissue paper and paper bags to add a bottom layer to the card.  There’s no pattern to where I put them and I made sure to tear them so the ages were a bit softer.  Then it was all just about layers – stickers, stamps, washi, die cuts, markers, pen, papers.  It really is just about being free.  If you’re not happy with it just keep going – keep adding something else!  I love that they’re not perfect and love how they feel.

I wanted to add them to some happy mail so wrapped them in vellum.  This is perfect because you can still see some of the details through it.  Added a piece of lace around it and tied it up with some twine.
