Hiya!!  Today we are focusing on the positives.

I have a new journaling video for you here if you want to watch this process and hear more about it all in detail.

Basically, I popped on this ‘lucky’ tshirt today and it got me thinking and asking myself ‘what do I feel lucky about?’ which spurred on today’s journal page.

Here’s the photo that I shared on IG stories.

.

.

When times are tough you can feel so down and forget what is actually good.

It can be really tricky to see the positives.

I think I am fortunate to be naturally an upbeat person, but something I try really hard to do is to see the positives in situations.

.

.

I’ve used the new ‘Hello Friend’ kit here on this page.

.

.

I love layers. So I created lots. I love how dreamy this looks.

You can’t see from this pic, but my photo sits on the mini envelope in the kit. My journaling is quite personal and there’s lots of it, so I folded up the note and placed it inside the envelope. I attached a little tab, so that it can be easily pulled out.

.

.

I attached the envelope with the washi from the kit (see the bunting strip) and this is how it looks when it opens out.

.

.

I was so happy with how my title came out.

I used one of the little bags from kit, that holds the die cuts and I doodled the word LUCKY, cut it out and coloured it in with markers. You can also see this being done in the video.

.

.

This is how it looked before I cut it out.

.

.

And this is how it finished up.

A lovely time spent journaling happy thoughts and taking time out for me.

I urge you to do the same.

.

Lots of love
