Mini Album “Friends And Sunshine”

Hello lollipop friends,

Wow! Let me tell you, the “Finding Paradise” kit is just amazing! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. I am not even ashamed to say that I have used nearly the whole kit in my first project. So let me show you…

I instantly knew I wanted to create a mini album and document a day in my personal paradise. My little girl and I discovered a very special spot last year. A park not far from our home has the most beautiful little stream (I have been told the water is cleaner than drinking water) and it’s so quiet and nothing but nature around. The stream is perfect for paddling in and a large tree offers shade on a sunny day. Perfect for a relaxing day with a yummy picnic!

A couple of weeks ago we took our lovely friends to this perfect spot and the kids had the best day.

So about the album…

I started off by creating my base using grey board and the papers from the kit.

I downloaded the cut apart card and printed it on a larger scale, then fussy cut the adorable flamingo as my focal point for the front cover. I placed her on a tag that I embossed with a tropical leaves folder and added some of the pink ribbon too. I cut some fitting words from the strips paper for my title.

Instead of pages I cut a few tags using the different papers from the kit. I used the same embossing folder on some of them.

I also cut smaller tags and printed larger leaves for layers in between the larger tags.

I added my photos and used the die cuts and stickers to embellish the tags. I used a lot of foam squares for dimension.

I punched a hole on the top of the back cover, added a ring and then the tags.

I am absolutely delighted with how this album turned out and I hope I was able to offer some inspiration.

Until next time…

Nadine xx
