Project Life with Chloé

.

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re well and happy hump day! It’s all downhill to the weekend from here 🙂

I’m here back on the blog today with a project using June’s Bucket List kit. I’m currently trying to finish all of my outstanding scrapbook albums, including my 2020 project life. One of the spreads from last summer was all about a camping trip to Dorset, so Bucket List was absolutely perfect.

As always you’ll have to bear with me in terms of the photos; my house is like a black hole if it’s dreary outside! Think I need to invest in a ring light at last.

The background papers in this spread are all old ones from my stash; I had already cut and placed them before I received June’s kit. However, nearly every single embellishment came from the Bucket List box! I created a title card using various elements, including the triangle stencil. I placed it onto my 4×6 card and spritzed some gold mist through it, creating a little bit of interest behind my embellishment cluster. I tore one of the blue notepaper post-its for some texture, and layered up a few die cuts! The tent was absolutely perfect. I even utilised the paperclip that secured a few embellishments together in the kit box.

The rest of the cards are quite self-explanatory. I used the kraft photo corners from the kit on both sides of the spread, along with the little tab sentiment die cuts. Using the same elements across both pages creates a sense of cohesion… the pages just seem to flow a little better! I also put together a cute journaling spot with the car die cut, it was perfect for explaining why we packed up and came home a day early!

I hope you’ve enjoyed a look at my project life album! It’s so close to being finished now, so there’ll be a process video up on YouTube in the next few weeks. As always, if you have any questions, you can always head to my youtube channel or instagram and drop me a message. See you again in a couple of weeks!
