Scrapbook Layout “Favourite Song” 

Hello Lollipop friends,

For my second project using the gorgeous “Country Garden Escape” kit, I’ve decided to document something a little different – my favourite song. It’s called “Sun To Me” by mgk.

A little while ago I used ChatGPT to create an image that reflects some of the lyrics of the song. I created it for an Instagram reel but decided it’s perfect for a scrapbook layout, too.

One line of the song says “Sweetest of the sunflowers, you’re the sun to me”. However the line “Find someone who grows flowers in the darkest parts of you” is the most meaningful to me.

Both of those beautiful parts of the song are combined in the image.

I started off by creating the flip element of the layout. I printed the picture and folded it like a backwards card. Inside are the lyrics and a picture from the music video.

I created my background using my Lindy’s powders – I love those! They are so easy to create stunning watercolour background with. The bursts of different colours fascinate me every single time!

I used the super cute stencil to add some contrasting elements.

I cut out some elements from the monthly download to embellish and also used the “Favourite song” phrase sticker from an older kit.
