Scrapbook Layout “Positive”

Hello lollipop friends,

I am super excited to show you my second project using the “Hopes and dreams” kit.

This one had a very different approach. I picked my ephemera and embellishments first before anything else.

I knew my colour scheme would be beautiful pastel shades of purple, blue and pink. Luckily I very quickly found a photo that matched those colours.

Once I had those elements, I decided to embrace the black background and use it to make the pastel colours pop.

I created a background with a layering stencil set from my stash, using matching colours of Distress Oxides.

Using a diamond shaped die, I cut up my background to create a large diamond on my page. I distressed the edges for extra texture.

I then created two clusters of embellishments. The vellum clouds are so cute and perfect for layering, but my favourites are definitely the cute white enamel clouds! I also added a wax seal for something extra.

This page for me is all about thinking positive and working towards a better future for me and my little girl.
