.
Hello there everyone!
.
Lorraine here today sharing a 12×12 scrapbook layout using the February kit Rise and Shine here.
How fun are the patterned papers this month, I adore anything with clouds on so the blue clouds with yellow heart raindrops won me over straight away. I wanted to get most of the papers on my layout so decided use lots of different circles, a photo of my granddaughter surrounded by bubble was ideal to feature on this creation.

I created the circles by selecting three different sized objects to draw round, a gesso tub, Nuvo Drops bottle and a paint pot, drawing around each one lightly with a pencil and cutting out by hand. Each circle was then distressed with a edge distressed tool to create extra texture but is also a great way to hide any wonky cutting! Along with the patterned papers I used the yellow paper bag and blue tissue paper, this gave a lovely effect of slightly opaque circles. I added black pen work to the circles, some with dash, some with solid lines and some with doodling.

The cute die cuts were raised on 3D foam pads and added to key focal points, they were perfect for documenting bath time with a cup of tea. The images don’t quite pick up the areas that I lightly coloured with the pencils, there are all four colours around the circumference of the circles and the text paper has the days of the weeks coloured in too. I have splattered the background lightly using Heidi Swapp Tinsel Colour Shine and some pink Nuvo Drops.
I created a banner using the stencil from this months kit draw onto the pink paper and fussy cut. Adding some of the yellow sequins and tiny sequin stars adds a fun finish.
