365 Days of Love Book with Giorgia

Hello, Giorgia here today with an idea using Lollipop June kit “Happily Ever After”.

Each and every time I receive a new Lollipop kit I think “wow, this one is my favorite!”, but I have to admit that the current kit is my very favorite!! I am in love with every bits of it and it gave me the right inspiration to finally start a huuuuuge project I had in mind since my baby Bella was born: I want to make an altered book with her first year in pictures, 365 pictures of pure sweetness!

I called it “365 days of love” book.

So I grabbed an old big book (if you want to recreate this project you will need a book of at least 800 pages) and I began putting sticky notes on the pages to date them, because I won’t scrap chronologically and I need to know in advance where to place the pictures; I used sticky notes from a previous Lollipop kit to do that.

Then I started making some of the pages: if you want to make a project like this remember to use only flat or almost flat embellishments, otherwise the book will be too chunky and it won’t close well.

For this first page layered the picture with patterned papers from the kit and I also fussy cut a frame from one of the papers, where I stamped the date. I embellished with stickers and die-cut from the kit.

For this page I fussy cut the cute bunting from the paper in kit, I create a layer under the picture with another paper and I added stickers and die-cut. I added a little sparkling gem from the kit to embellish the bow.

In this page I layered the picture on a journal tag cut from the current kit zine. I stamped several time the date on it. I fussy cut a frame from one of the papers and I embellished with die-cuts from the kit.

For this page I layered the picture on a piece of heart patterned paper from the kit and I fussy cut a frame from one of the papers, where I stamped the date. I added the cute mini crown on the picture, because my Isabella really is a lovely princess! I used the star from the kit and I added a faux stitching with black pen on it, then I added a star sticker and a gem from the kit. The other stickers are from pas Lollipop kits.

Another page: here Bella was “reading” one of her favorite books! I layered the picture on patterned paper from the kit and I embellished with stickers and die-cuts from past and current Lollipop kit. I added a bow on Bella’s head and a sparkling gem onto it.

This is the last page I made: baby Bella eating yogurt for the first time!

I layered the picture on patterned paper from the kit and I used the journal card with Lisa’s artwork as an added layer. I used the tab die-cut to stamp the date and I embellished with stickers and die-cuts from past and current kit.

I hope you liked my project and I hope to have inspired you creating with your Lollipop kits.

If you will follow my future post you will see how the “365 days of love” book will go on!

Have a good day,

Ciao
