Take Note – Scrapbooking with Guest Designer Wendy

Hi, it’s Wendy Meffan here and I am pleased to be guest designing for Lollipop Box Club this month.

This kit was perfect for my photos as I had been for afternoon tea for a friend’s birthday at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in London . I decided to make this LO first to have full pick of the kit .

.

I wanted to show multiple photos so printed them out on the tiny bookmark setting on the canon SELPHY.

Having arranged my photos in order and on the page I then decided to embellish around them . I backed them with the blue gingham card and the gorgeous heart tissue paper that came around the kit.

.

I used the stencil from Bramble fox and placed it near the clock cake photo and also at the top . I drew around the little icons in black and coloured them in red and black like the suits in a pack of cards .

.

.

The blue gingham card was perfect for a table cloth and I punched the edge with a lace border .

.
I wanted to even up the page so added the playing cards to the right with the Alice sticker from the sticker sheet and a cup of tea sticker above.

.

.

I then added the large Take Note perspextive which was from Bramblefox and backed it in blue gingham card .

.

.

I cut out the Alice’s tea party title from one of the large postcards and the little arrows from the cut apart sheet.

I added the little type writer perspextive and added the paper and 60 as it was a 60th birthday celebration.

.

.

I felt the pocket watch stencil at the left side needed something extra so used the teabag and tea sticker on sticky fixers .

.

.

I stapled the mini pom-poms to the top strip of photos .

Finally I added some phrases stickers from the sticker sheet and dotted a few red sticker hearts which complimented the red in my photos .

This kit was so lovely to use and I’m pleased I managed to use all my photos to document a lovely celebration. I hope this will inspire you with your own photos of celebrations in some way

Happy Scrapping

Wendy
