For the tag base, I used the papers from the kit, primarily the pink card and the small torn note papers, just for a different look really. I cut the shapes free hand from the papers to create the tag base. I then used a mixture of the ‘washi strip’ style papers to create layers, along with the die cuts and stickers and before you know it you’ve created a lovely piece of ephemera to use in your journal layouts later down the line – and the backs could either be decorated with washi and card to add photos, or, as I’ve done, kept blank with black pen lines for hidden away journalling.

I used a distress ink to dab the edges to give it a little something more, especially the white pages.

Take care,
Lauren
